- Maria Kirilenko is promising. No doubt about it. She lost narrowly yesterday to Serena ... but played the most clean-hitting, fearless, high quality game I've seen in a long time. In fact it's the best women's match I've seen this year. Hope she can stick around... she could be really good.
- Sharapova is going through nicely. I've always thought she is a good player. In fact women's tennis is finally developing the depth that men's tennis has always had - and the earlier rounds are becoming a little more watchable.
- Moya, Coria and Federer are going through nicely. Who was it that said Ferrero and Agassi would get through to the semis? My boys are doing just dandy thank you very much. Hate to do this... but i told you so!!
- Euro2004, Wimbledon, US Open, Olympics ... going to be one hell of a summer !

- Pity the San Antonio Spurs lost. Never liked LA too much. Kobe deserves credit though.

- I'm carefully going to tread around political stuff here. Not here... Not now.
- Federer is going great guns... hope he can do well at French and not be subjected to the same criticism that all my other heroes have been.
