Overall a rather ordinary film though. Too long, very preachy (the kiss of death for many films in my opinion).

Yes, def was preachy in parts, but it sure does strike a sensitive nerve and make an impression on all of us living away from home. I liked the yankee boss' comment in the end, "Go! Go light ur bulb!" - perfect example of Americans not being able to fathom how things like electricity (which we can take for granted in the US) are still such a big deal in most parts of India. Could've done with way better editing and more insight into the protagonist's reason in choosing to go back. But, the movie did strengthen my resolve to eventually "return back to my homeland"..dont know when, but would def like to..
